Whoa!!! I see you have tried out the new spline tool with superb results. I love how the path winds through the hills and farmland just beneath that lifting haze. Very dramatic scene for the search, it almost looks as if the sky is shining spotlights through the clouds in cooperation. Wonderful work!!

well even though I've only done 5 images (with this one), I have to stop for now, as it's been around an hour. I had to do something new, so as not to neglect your latest work. (I told tara I'd do shadows too. That'll be a near-future session...) There's definitely a search for something going on, and as your narrative states, the search revealed nothing. But you also have a wonderful moody and spacious landscape, suitably covered in mist, to suit the sense of searching for activity that's elusive to the chopper. The chopper is strong, but almost fits into the landscape, at least enough to not be intrusive. And it casts a fine shadow on the path. The two roads are wonderfully diverse, the flora and land is (as always in your landscapes) detailed & very realistic. The background is suitably grand but hazed-over, and your light is also typically subtle & dramatic at the same time. It's one of your signatures, I think. A daytime scene, covered in a veil of mystery and seclusion---even in such a sweeping landscape---and another piece that---because of the mist and the chopper---tells a tale that's implied (and an inviting tale at that). More sensitive & fine work from you. I'll be back again, as it's always such a wonderful pleasure to be here. Hope your fall is going splendidly, and thanks again for your wonderful visit. (And I have some questions & thoughts on your wonderful fractal comments recently, and I'll write to you about them soon...)
