If it looks like a DUKW,
and it quacks like a DUKW,
and it swims like a DUKW,
it MUST be a DUKW!
Right?
Or...?
Ever since I bought my first Airfix model of the DUKW in 1968 I've wanted to do a picture like this! And now, here's my grand chef d'oeuvre! With a lot of help from Photoshop!
I stopped by the pond on my way to work yesterday to photograph the TWO ducks in the grass. In the space of 20 seconds, I was surrounded by 24 quacking ducks, all expecting me to feed them! And they were getting in the way of each other, all trying to face me. BUT, when they saw my camera, did they ever get in a hurry to turn around and move off! I did succeed in getting 2 half decent photos of one fellow who couldn't turn because another duck was in his way. The sun was also from the wrong direction, but, turning around with the camera in hand had the same "scare" effect on the ducks behind me, so I had to stick with what I got. They are not stupid, and can be a lot of fun to watch. But, you can't tell them to pose!

Brilliant title mate! I absolutely love this piece and it shows off your skills with PS nicely too! Top notch! BTW, I went into the Doctors surgery the other day with a shotgun to make a complaint, In the space of 20 seconds I had surrounded 20 "quacks" all trying to duck! Poor joke I know, but it felt funny at the time of writing :)

Great job...two amphibians molded together into one very unique result. Of the 21,147 DUKWs designed by Rod Stephens Jr. of Sparkman & Stephens Inc. yacht designers, none ever looked quite this cool;-)

Sorry for the late comment Michael. This is such a good idea i'm surprised nobody has thought of it before. Brings to mind the "standing in a lake with a small wooden duck on his head" line from Blackadder :) Although the gun to his head is a bit of a worry.
