Description
Zlata, Zwoggle, Meadow & Jasmine tramped on, they looked high & low but it did seem Scarey Mary just didn’t want to be found.
“I think we should go back to Mrs Bonga’s & carry the search on tomorrow.” said Zwoggle putting the apples down, he was so fed up of carrying the heavy basket that when some spilled out, he just left them where they lay.
“But what about me?” asked Jasmine. “I will have to spend the night outside as I carn’t get into the house.”
“Of course we won’t leave you.” Zlata told Jasmine.
I am beginning to think Zlata has a soft spot for Jasmine.
“Thankyou, much appreciated.” she replied.
Suddenly Zlata turned away from Jasmine, she couldn’t speak for a moment. That’s a novelty!!!
“Flipping heck.” exclaimed Zlata. “I don’t believe it. I think Scarey Mary has done the evil deed again.”
All but Meadow looked over to see what had caught Zlata’s attention. There coming towards them was a HUGE mouse.
“Blimey, has the same thing happened to you as has to me.” asked Jasmine.
“I was just going to ask you the same question.” came the reply. “Let me introduce myself my name is Mickey & my family & I all work for Mrs Bonga.”
“As in Mouse.” giggled Zwoggle, interupting. He stood up on the bench to get a closer look.
“Oh, there is always one.” said Mickey with a sigh. “If only you knew how many times I have heard that.”
“Zwoggle you are juvenile sometimes.” Zlata told him.
Zwoggle was a bit upset, he hadden’t mean’t any harm.
Mickey began to tell the friends that he had come across Scarey Mary Fairy a few days ago, she was tormenting his children, he had cross words with her & the next thing he knew was that he was bigger than everyone else.
“I should only be a bit bigger than my children Mick & Mack, who, by the way are under the bench eating cheese.” he carried on.
Poor Meadow was a bit worried as Mickey’s feet were a bit close to her & she thought that if he wasn’t careful he could well stand on her without even knowing it.
“Have you any suggestions as to what we can do to find Scarey Mary.” asked Zlata. She explained to Mickey that they no longer called her Scarey Mary Fairy & why “We must get Jasmine back to her normal size.”
“I will help all I can, I too want to be back to my normal size, I carn't get into Mrs Bonga's house” Mickey told her.
Unbeknown to the friends & that now included Mickey, there was someone watching them from behind the rubbish bin. Whoever it was gave a little giggle & went on their way.
