UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

So rich a place! We have very similar weather.

From the branches this looks like a small creek running over rocks, but from the rocks, it could be a good sized body of water. I'm having a hard time grasping how big this actually is. From the camera angle, it looks like you've gone out on a slippery ledge to take this photo. (Please DO be careful!) I don't see any fish - do they come up this part of the waterway? If so, it's amazing, considering the rocks and rushing water! I'd like to see this from another angle, and something recognizeable to catch an idea of the size of these falls. The lighting here is fantastic.

Excellent stuff Bill. You know, I'd have been tempted to do the slow shutter thing and get the cotton candy water, but that has been done to death eh? I like this!

A very beautiful little waterfall and a super capture of the water.

Wonderful capture Bill. God Bless.

I could have stood there all day, mesmerized by the water. This shot doesn't convey how crystal clear the water was ... there's probably no shutter speed fast enough for that! Gorgeous shot. :*

Gorgeous cascade, Bill; it looks like it was quite noisy. It would be great to see it when they're jumping against the flow!

Now that would have been a great shot, huh, Bill? Salmon jumping! But still, this is wonderful and I bet it sounded impressive!!! Well caught! Rob

Outstanding capture Bill! Milky white churning water and mossy rock textures really add to this wonderful capture!
