Description

This is one reason why I don't dig up all the Dandelions. The insects are more important than a 'weed'-free garden! Andrena species, possibly A. nigroaenea, I'm reliably informed by an expert from BWARS!

The bee's are becoming more active again now I have a massive nest in the ground in front of my house and they are swarming again , it sad to know that bee's work themselves to death and like 28 day's according to documentary's and things I have watched and a bee wont sting unless it really has to because it will die if it does.

Fantastic pic Andrea, the sun is shining in London today, but I have not seen a situation that my gardens are "Throbbing with invertebrates" hehe!

OMG, your dandelions are really pretty and are light years ahead of our motley crop down in the Southland. Capital capture all around, Andrea, and I reiterate that the flower sure looks like the variation of a dahlia.

A super capture of them both. I don't have the time to get all the weeds out of my garden either.

Wow the bee makes a dandelion weed flower look very pretty as it flits through the leaves. We have several of these flowers sprouting up across our lawn.
