Description

More glassworks, captured back on 7/26/09, at the beautiful Cerritos Business Complex in beautiful Cerritos, California. Definitely ZOOM worthy. Actually, not one of my main targets in the complex, but worth photographing. Third photo snapped at a much earlier time of the day. Hotel shown at a distance in the last pic. Structure in the left foreground is the AIS Building, fotos of which to be uploaded later. Farvel, thankx for stopping by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Another fine architectural exploration from you, Harry, this time with a more wholly-glass exterior. The last one had more stone & other non-glass structures; this one is a wall-of-glass structure. And you just gave us plain, head-on & even tilted views of these strange sheer facades (bringing out their strangeness), the first two with flares (which seem to pour into the glass), the third where glass & sky seem made of the same substance because they're of the same hue. (And you gave us ground too.) And the last, a longer perspective, where we see the place "in context". It's the most "classic" shot of the bunch, and it's a fine shot in its own right. The building was maybe not your 'main target', as you write, but you know when a structure calls out to be shot. (The last shot really is classical, with its square facade & tree framing the central bldg; and that tall lamp being a perfect vertical in its midst. A fine shot, Harry. And a fine collage.)

Ooh, things in Cerritos really have changed since I left all those years ago; what a lovely construction this one is! I am very fond of these glass buildings as pieces of architectural art. You've captured a fine assortment of views of the finer points of this one, well done you!

All glass and shine... Like allot of modern buildings....not just this one, but many hundreds in my Country as well mate, it looks the same as the one around the corner or across the street.. It takes something special to stand out.. Not just 'Weird'.. Greenery helps, and as you can see in one of your shots this abode suffers from 'brownery' lol Still I've seen allot worse.. Thats for sure.. These are good shots, making a good collage... And, this is not a critical comment, its a comment about the buildings not your pictures mate... The pictures are good! Rob
