Description

Arrived in New Hampshire safe and sound. Our car did not fare as well. A young girl, on a cell phone, did not see us or the red light that we were stopped at. We drive a 2005 Nissan Altima with about 108,200 miles. It is still fully functional but the rear end is not so pretty. Her Toyota will need a whole new front end. This is an egret that was in shallow salt water. The waves changed the reflection and I thought that it was very different. The bright Key West sunshine washed out some of the egrets detail. I will start the comment catch up game in the morning. I was actually thinking of posting this photo upside down. What do you think? Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

I would give it a try, good reflection very unique. And I am glad everyone is okay, People put the damn cell phones down when you are driving or eating dinner out or when you are being waited on by others. I like the pre cell phone days so much better.

Sorry about your 'poke' up the rear Dana, I hope no-one was hurt apart from feelings! This is a great pic and well spotted, I like the circle - very different.

Sorry to hear that you got rear ended but glad you are OK . Great picture and I love the reflections, after holding the laptop upside down I don't think an upside down pic looks better.

Nice shot Dana, and sorry to hear about the accident! No, I like it right side up! I have become quite wary of inattentive drivers. If I see someone behind me on a cell phone I will slip back behind them before they know it.

Fantastic capture despite the detail burnout; the reflection more than makes up for it! Glad you're okay after the accident.

Sorry to hear about your car, but at least you and your wife are safe and sound. :) Wonderful capture of this egret and really cool looking reflection at the bottom where it looks like a ring! Yes it is really hard to deal with their whiteness when they are in the sun. :)
