Description
A Fletcher class destroyer breaks off the Taskforce formation for a possible submarine contact.
In the background, the USS New Jersey (BB-62) ("Big J" or "Black Dragon") on it´s way to one of her last missions of WW2 - bombarding Guam and Palau Islands. After WW2 she saw action in Corea, Vietnam, Lebanon and was decommissioned in 1991.

Action Stations! Captures the turn really well... keeping low on the surface seems to really bring the destroyer right to you. I like the birds as well as the big complex sky!
