Description


The japanese I19 submarine is surprised by 2 Hellcats which came straight out of the sun. The I19 was a Japanese Type B1 submarine which saw service during World War II in the Imperial Japanese Navy. It was responsible for sinking the USS Wasp (CV-7) and USS O'Brien (DD-415), and damaging the USS North Carolina (BB-55) during the Guadalcanal campaign. It was depth charged and sunk November 25, 1943. Models - DeEspona Setup and rendered in Vue10, finished in Photoshop. Thanks for viewing & comments! Tafkah

Splendid atmosphere and low on the water POV too... One of these days I'm going to have to get myself an I-boat or two... purely to keep my "Glen" floatplane company of course...;-)
