Description

Or one of the many varieties of that lovely species. If not, then I'm in deep, deep yogurt. Captured back on 5/22/09, early morning, somewhere within the vast perimeter of my neighborhood. Absolutely ZOOM worthy. Totziens, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Very attractive. Officially they are called Regal Perlagoniums. But many folk do call them geraniums

Yep, I know them as geraniums too; they remind me so much of my grandpa, who had a prodigious green thumb for flowers and veggies. His garden was really something to behold, from the climbing roses to the massive fuchsia bushes and miles of geraniums. Beautiful captures of this regal two-tone beauty, Harry!

Super captures of these lovely Geraniums, they look so clear and crisp and I like the deep purple veins.

Ooooo, very sharp and colorful. Glad to see the people in the know above have all agreed with you. Sorry I've been absent from commenting. We're still on the road with some not-so-good internet connections, but I'll be back before long and get my regular commenting back on track.

how in the world do so many of you know flower types? And where was I when they handed out that info??? Anyway, I can't believe I missed this. I passed it over, the last few weeks, thinking, "no way I didn't comment on that!" (Which means I'm going to go through your gallery with a fine tooth comb now...) These are gorgeous. You got real clarity in each flower, their light bursts in our eyes, and it makes the deep purple hues just explode for us. The sequence is closer and closest, plus you got some really curly leaves, and some real gritty detail in the right-most flowers in each image. It's hard to believe shots like these have no studio lighting, as they really jump off the page. Beautiful pair of shots, Harry.
