Description
Here's Thurston again. I am sending him to live
with another rehaber that does raptors only.
As much as I hate to let them go, it is the
best thing for them.
I just thought you would like to see how much
he grew and changed over a week.
Note the tufts are now up. He is looking
back over his shoulder in this shot.

You are doing great work...both for the birds and animals and in your photography of them! I am looking at all your shots...just haven't been able to comment much lately. Keep up the great work.

My what big eyes you've got, and that hairdo reminds me of me looking in a mirror first thing in the morning. Great shot and you are doing a great job.

Nice photo!

My, he sure HAS grown! And his pupils are less wide, suggesting he's gotten over the trauma of rolling all over the highway! I'm always amazed at how far an owl can turn its head/neck around! I wonder what the skeleton looks like, to be able to do that. It's a good way of checking what may be sneaking up behind (like that nice feeding lady with the camera!). I've looked at several owl videos on YouTube - impressive birds! And some are so funny! But, they belong best out in the wild. Keep up the good work! And do keep us up to date with your proteges. :-)

Fabulous photo Bev! it is amazing to see them turn their heads so far around I'm glad that he is with people who care. I can see why it would be hard to let them go
