Prologue – Episode 4 Sitting on the bed is a woman dressed as a nun. Skye stands in the doorway. She has to bite her tongue to keep from laughing. "Um...hi?" "Hello, gorgeous girl," the nun says. Her voice is warm and silky smooth. Melodic. "Don’t worry, you have the right room." "Oh, good!" Skye says, shutting the door behind her. "I wasn’t sure!" She throws the nun a flirtatious giggle. "Not what you were expecting?" the nun asks. "I wasn’t expecting a...woman." The nun smiles. "Come in, Emma. There’s no need to be afraid." The smile falls out of Skye’s face. "How...how do you know my real name?" "Oh, I know everything there is to know about you, honey. I know your real name, your real age. I know where you live. I know why you do this job. I know about your dreams." "My dreams? How could you know about..." The nun rises from the bed. For the first time, Emma notices how young she is. And yet...her voice. Her voice is old. Impossibly old. Ancient. "Come, Emma. Take my hand. I’ll show you the world you’ve been dreaming of." "No," Emma says, suddenly very afraid. She tries to turn, to run to the door and leave this place. But instead she finds herself moving slowly closer towards the nun. Closer. Closer. "Who are you?" she gasps. "My name is Mother Sinistra. Now take my hand." Slowly, inexorably, Emma finds herself moving closer and closer. Why am I doing this? Why can’t I stop myself? Their hands touch. The hotel room fills with bright white light. And then they are not in the hotel room any longer.
