Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

How wonderful to see these out in nature like this; brilliant shot!

Great shot Ed, it looks as if the smaller is teasing the other.

Oh so many memories brought back by this. There's a small cafe above the swim beach at Guantanamo. There is a 3' coral wall between the patio and the drop to the water. This wall was a major sunning spot for the iguanas. They swear up and down that the iguanas are vegitarian, but they'ld swipe a chunk of you hamburger before spinning around, smacking you with their tails and making off with half your burger. Thank you for the memories :)

Oh, a cantaloupe! In the thumb it looked like a beak and I couldn't figure what kind of animal it was. Great capture!

Ah, the peaceful iguanas (iggy-wanna have your lunch, and your finger, too). Vegeatrians? They can bite very hard. And fight. But they are fun to watch. Nice photo, catching them in a natural environment (even if there's man made stuff around). Must have been fun seeing them tussle over the water mellon rind! Keep up the good work! :-)

How wonderful to have thesew in the wild. Some VERY stupid people try to keep them as pets here.
