Hello everybody! Welcome to my Homepage! I really don't have much to say at present, but I'm sure I can think of something.
I recently got married to a lovely woman, and we are working on a book together (more on that as it progresses).Â
Whoops! It's pretty late here in Fay., NC and I gotta get to bed.Â
Work starts early in the morn, so that we can get New Year off.
More later...ta.

Don't discount electric or hybrid car's ability for performance. The Fisker Karma immediately comes to mind. It can be driven electric only (via twin 200 HP electric motors) but has a 260 HP 4 cylinder intercooled turbo internal combustion motor to extend it's range and recharge the battery ~ a pitiful 50 miles or less in electric mode, IIRC. It comes on automatically when the lithium-ion battery depletes. That mode however would be reasonably exciting (and quickly lived) I would think, those electric motors pump out 959 ft. lbs. of instant torque to the rear wheels. Try getting those torque figures from a "normal" internal combustion motor. What curbs it's performance is the fact that while classified as a sub-compact it still manages (thanks to battery weight) to weigh in at 5300 lbs. ~ more than my Nissan Pathfinder! 0-60 is a little over 6 seconds and top speed is limited to 125 mph... I guess to not offend the treehuggers. ;)
