Taking inspiration from the famous comic I created this image to showcase lighting and material techniques for my "Make Your Own Reality" tutorial for the Reality plug-in. Image rendered with LuxRender via Reality.

Fantastic looking render, it makes me wonder why so many folks still think DS is a second rate rendering tool. The lighting and textures are sublime.
