Haahaa, I couldn't resist. I caught this saying a while back on the web on another spider pic. LOVED IT! Found this cool looking, and rather large spider on my car right after I washed it. I assume all the water brought her out of where ever she was hiding (the trunk rim I think). Anyway, thanks for looking... and remember... Great shot and words - be kind to all of them (maybe not to nice to midges - push them in the webs of spiders for example), we are many but they are many more! And they will be here also after a nuclear war - when we are just a grain of sand ran through the hourglass of the worlds history.

Superb! I have to catch up on so much of your work, but I couldn't resist commenting here. As I'm not an insect or anything else on this lovely person's dietary menu, I can afford to say what a gorgeous creature this is! Such nice, shiny surfaces...I can just imagine spider society: there must be a booming business in facial polishing! Stunning. Beautiful. I love the crisp detail and the manner in which each and every one of those eyes is so clearly defined. Nice!
