Description

Many here know my youngest is Autistic. It is challenging enough, but at times the challenge can become much greater. For a couple months now I have been meeting the greater challenge and it consumes most of my waking moments. As a result I do the best I can to get around the galleries. I should make this clear, this is not an apology! I will not apologize for how my life is lived! That is not what this is about, this is about all those understanding and supportive people that keep up with my gallery though I am often playing catch up in theirs, and so I would like to dedicate this to you. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2330931.jpg

You do marvellously not to be totally overwhelmed by that. A superb image, in which I see more than one face.

I agree with Maria C. and Andrea, Dana! Thank you very much for showing this very special capture and landscape. It looks in a way like a soufflé baked in the oven. Children in general often require much attention and energy, it's so important we are there for them, it will for them 'bear fruit' later. I admire it that you are there for your youngest, Dana.

I did not know you had a child on the spectrum. I work with severely Autistic children everyday and find it the most rewarding job I have ever had, and sometimes the hardest too.

A beautiful image indeed... it can't be easy for you, but a challenges are what keep us going, and make life worth living. Exquisite layers on your composition, my Friend. A superb find and portrayal!

It is a lovely dedication and it is always an interesting journey to visit your gallery and I don't expect you to be able to get to mine. I just love seeing all the new scenery that we don't have down here. These formations must be fantastic to see.

the colors are brilliant. I have had a couple of clients in the past with children having autism.I know it can be as hard on the child as it is on the parents. I recall one client with 5 daughters and the youngest has Downs syndrome .I asked her where did you get your cuteness from your mother or father.and a really great answer was"that is hard to say". the parents are wealthy so they could afford 24 hour care for her.I suppose having 4 older sisters she excelled more than some Downs Syndrome children

I am so sorry to hear of this and i know the challenge u are going through i have a cousin this way and sometimes it is unbearable but only to those who do not know how to handle it but what makes me really mad about it is when we take him out in public the rude remarks and stares that people do is just to much and i just wish life could be better for them anyway hang in there and we love the photos u bring to us.
