Description

Thank you to those that expressed concerns or kind words about the last posting. I can not deny a special needs child places demands on all living under the same roof, but it's not to say it doesn't have it's rewards. I have yet to make a Bio for this gallery and so my intent last post was just an explanation, no hidden meaning or reading between the lines is necessary. I just wanted to convey my sincere thanks to those that put up with my "Johnny come lately" commenting over the past few months. Note to self: stick to explanations of hiking trips...LOL! Snapped this image before dropping further down to go around the Sandstone castle and it's moat. The formation had grown even more in size the closer my proximity. I would compare something like a football stadium to it's immensity! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2331738.jpg

These rock formations are just fascinating things! The ring like areas look to have been gouged out with a chisel! Wonderful shot mate!

The beauty of these rocks is amazing and very awe inspiring. What stories they must be able to tell us about the making of our earth. A wonderful clear capture.

I just LOVE my travels through your photos, Dana. I for one should be most interested in your bio...I think we sort of half get to know each other through the work, but it enhances the experience to learn a little about each person.

Fantastic rock formations & you've captured them beautifully. I'm currently planning a photographic trip to the southwest with a friend in October & your photos have broadened my horizons on compositional possibilities...
