Here’s a third take on “Le Chat Noir”, this time post processed in PhotoShop with AdamWright’s BW Toon It action in response to hardwaretoad’s suggestion. I’d liked the color in the previous take, “The Black Cat” (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2331177), but this is much more “noir”. I completely agree with hardwaretoad’s comment comparing the first and second versions. I think maybe there’s just too much going on to focus the scene by itself. For this try, I added cartoon balloon dialog in Chinese. If Google translate is any good at all, the dialog should actually say something that might relate to the scene in a Bladerunner context (the title quotes one balloon).
