Description
his is a simple image I created to include in my Art Deco Airship product description graphics. The concept is that the armored military version is made by adding power and armor (I used chain mail for the gasbag) to the commercial passenger airship. The image shows a flight of Armored Airships flying through some flak.
The airships are the Armored Airship version of my Art Deco Airship. The explosions are Jeppe's FlameZ and the background is a modified sky from CG Textures.

Awesome concept...btw I've never understood why anyone thought delicate airships could be useful fighting platforms? Least of all when filling them with hydrogen??? But they were everywhere in early sci-fi...So its great to reminisce a bit about the "what if's" of it all!
