My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A lovely shot, Tara - I love the composition here.... Lots of room for the girl and her companion to move. The waves are just spectacular. A gorgeous shot all the way around, my dear friend!

J'aime bien le mouvement des vagues qui tranche avec le calme des promeneurs.

A lovely photo and the shapes of the waves that you have caught are so beautiful. The sea is always changing isn't it. We can see it from our windows and it is never the same colour.

I'm with you-- nothing sweeter than just walking along the beach!!

Great capture Tara. I know exactly what you are talking about - the sand, the sound of the water, the shape of the waves. On the Eastcoast (New Jersey) the beach was usually deseeted before memorial Day and after Labor Day. The best time to either walk, sit or whatever! BTW, I got my first Tony Hillerman book!

Looks a great place.

Smashing! The entire composition AND the waves:*
