Hello everybody! Welcome to my Homepage! I really don't have much to say at present, but I'm sure I can think of something.
I recently got married to a lovely woman, and we are working on a book together (more on that as it progresses).Â
Whoops! It's pretty late here in Fay., NC and I gotta get to bed.Â
Work starts early in the morn, so that we can get New Year off.
More later...ta.

A fine shot of what is known as a "Kamm" (Wiki or Google him) style rear end, it was designed to create downforce via negative air pressure, kind of like an airplane wing does only turned on it's side, so to speak ~ "form follows function". The rule of "supply and demand" applies to it's stratospheric costs not only in the real world but your game as well. I would think that would be a more than obvious reason. Horsepower doesn't necessarily relate to performance on track in all cases, the two are not mutually synonimous. Take Porsche's wonderful racers of the 50's and early 60's... the 356's, the Carerra's, the 550 Spyder's, all dominating cars in their respective classes in hillclimbs, etc. Probably not a one of them had much more than maybe 100 HP or so. One must take into account power-to-weight ratios for example. Effective transmission gearing to adequately utilize the motor's powerband, decent aerodynamics, etc. All fall into performance or lack there of. The RX7 you've posted pics and gif's of is a prime example of this in action. The 13B motor displaced 1.3 litres, hardly what one would call a massive displacement engine. Yet these cars did dominate their classes in IMSA for years on end... much to the chagrine of their competition.
