Hello everybody! Welcome to my Homepage! I really don't have much to say at present, but I'm sure I can think of something.
I recently got married to a lovely woman, and we are working on a book together (more on that as it progresses).Â
Whoops! It's pretty late here in Fay., NC and I gotta get to bed.Â
Work starts early in the morn, so that we can get New Year off.
More later...ta.

A racer it wasn't, had a top speed of like 40 MPH or something like that I think with it's 25HP motor. Four wheel drive was only available in 1st and reverse gears (IIRC) like it's Schwimmwagen cousin. It was built by VW again in like the '70's-'80's as the Type 181 "Thing". They're still popular here in the Az. desert where I live. They weren't big sellers and were retired once again in fairly short order. There was a 4-wheel drive Beetle as well during that era called the "Commander" or something like that, it had similar performance as the other two... dismal. This would've been more convincing of a capture if you'd gotten rid of the modern dressed crowd but I guess maybe it's been drug out at a display show... I really need to let my imagination go I think.. ;)

Yes, it does seem out of place!
