Two Giraffe on their way in the Kalahari desert Alongside the “road” between Mata Mata (border with Namibia) and Twee Rivieren (border with Botswana) through the Kalahari desert we saw about four giraffe in the late afternoon sun. (the only ones we have seen in the Kalahari desert. it was our last part of our stay in the “Kalahari Zoo”. Next day we drove in the direction of Joburg to return our camper. It is always so impressive to see those big animals moving around and abusing their long neck for eating green leaves from the top of trees!! We left Namibia on the south east border with RSA, and we visited the Kalahari Frontier National Park from the RSA site. We made in May 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) .
