Description

Those rock formations in the background are called sea stacks. Bill was inspired by the stacked rocks we found on a couple of the beaches we visited, and he spent some time fiddling with a bit of stacking of his own. He did some on the picnic table at our campsite at LaPush that were fun, but I sat in the sun with the dog watching him and didn't take any pictures. ... Sometimes life is just meant to be enjoyed, not documented! :)

B&W is perfect. It allows one to concentrate on the composition and shows off the foreground details against the less distict background. Like it!

Beautiful picture! It amazes me that people can get rocks to balance like this!! And camping at LaPush? That must have been wonderful. Okay, going to sound like a fan girl here, LOL...but it made me think of the Twilight movies. I thought the beach at LaPush was just beautiful...

An excellent capture of this part of the beach and the nicely stacked rocks go so nicely with the other stacks in the distance.

Here we see a natural stack and a Japanese garden stack, created by Bill - most intriguing, 'Sea-stack vs Zen-stack' - way cool Tara, BB
