My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

B&W is perfect. It allows one to concentrate on the composition and shows off the foreground details against the less distict background. Like it!

Great shot and as for stacking rocks I'd have trouble with square house bricks.

Beautiful picture! It amazes me that people can get rocks to balance like this!! And camping at LaPush? That must have been wonderful. Okay, going to sound like a fan girl here, LOL...but it made me think of the Twilight movies. I thought the beach at LaPush was just beautiful...

An excellent capture of this part of the beach and the nicely stacked rocks go so nicely with the other stacks in the distance.

Here we see a natural stack and a Japanese garden stack, created by Bill - most intriguing, 'Sea-stack vs Zen-stack' - way cool Tara, BB
