Description

Thought I would post something from my England Trip folder today since its been a while. The day we were at Buckingham Palace was so cool because we were the only spectators out front snapping pictures. I was totally surprised, expecting at least some sort of crowd, though quite happy to to find it "empty"! :-) The day was very productive. I got to see all the more prominent sites in London. Though as amazing as London was (is), and to be able to say 'Hey I've been down Abbey Road!' was most awesome, I still liked the English Countrysides and the small Town of Stamford best. The old buildings and Churches, Pubs, and streets were incredible to see. I recommend anyone who visits Lincolnshire vicinity to stop and check it out. Have a great day folks, and please be safe this weekend. People get excited, start rushing around and drive to fast on way to little common sense on a Holiday weekend, this one in particular. Thank you for your visit to my Gallery. Thank you for the comments left and any fav's, I do appreciate them.

Great shot of this wonderful palace, even though i'm not a royalist myself. You are right about the countryside, if you are ever over again get Rob to take you to Cornwall where you'll both be most welcome to pop in for a cup of Char (tea) :)

I am VERY anti-royal for many reasons, the photo you show here, while being a good capture, also illustrates one of them, one of the injustices of KEEPING a monarchy, all those rooms and there are many homeless people. ces't la vie. but anyway - a fine shot Rose and have a safe and happy weekend yourself -

Fine presentation Rose! Did you go up to any of the guards and try to make them look at you...or get then to smile...or??? It is always surprising to go to such a public place and have it all to yourselves. Have a great weekend too.
