Description
So back in 1965, two years before my appearance on this big round ball we call Earth; a group of fellows from Hannover, Germany ignited a new band. They have gone through members as allot of bands do, but these guys can still rock! The reason I did this image was for a friend here on Rendo, crunch01. On January 24, 2010, after 46 years of performing, the band announced that they will be retiring. The band sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Crunch01 thought a tribute image was in order and I totally agreed! So, here is my contribution to one awesome kickass band!! If you havent checked these guys out, I highly recommend it. And crunch01, THANK YOU!!

Well... All one can say to these guys is well done! 46 years, that is very impressive for a Rock band AND sadly (very) they are one of the few big Rock bands I never got to see! And now never will.. Respect guys! Massive respect! (Best Album i think; Animal Magnitism.) Great picture Rosy! I'm loving it and I think you should send it to the guys.. Go for it... Brilliant, love it! Rob x

Excellent tribute! I had no idea the Scorpions went back that far. Now I'm curious to hear what they sounded like, pre 80s. Well done image.

As a music fan of the Golden Oldies, I don't anything about the Scorpion genre, but I think your image is outstanding, Rosie! Love the whole black and red ambience of it. Sensational postwork.

That's a good run Rosie, same year as I was born. I have heard of the band and saw a guy called Rudi doing an interview on a music program once, but not their songs so will check them out. Very cool tribute image though :)

Hi! Thanks so much! You made my day! :) Oh my God. Your gallery is so awesome. So much fun stuff to see! These guys should use this image for a promo. Love the colors! And wow! I had no idea they've performing that long! I found some old live Black Sabbath footage on YouTube recorded in Paris about the time of the Paranoid release that will absolutely blow your windows out too! :)
