Description
Well, this not exactly a picture of the Piazza di Spagna (Rome) itself, but a picture of the church Trinita dei Monti. This church is located near the famous roman square. It is a very popular view since the movie Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn.
A giant stairway leads from the place to the church and it was used for a scene where Gregory Peck offers an ice cream to Audrey Hepburn.
Unfortunatly, the square and the stairway are always crowded and it is impossible to picture it without tourists..
I did my best to clean the upper part of my picture but I was unable to clean the stairway, so I decided to crop my picture.

Voilà, cette petite photo est pour toi Jean-Claude. Je suis sûre que tu sais pourquoi. En ce qui me concerne, ça m'a rappelé de bons souvenirs de travailler sur cette image.
J'ai aussi compris qu'il était impossible d'effacer proprement des touristes quand on n'a pas un échantillon assez grand à dupliquer ( ce qui était le cas pour l'escalier que j'ai préféré supprimer de ma photo :-)
J'espère que le résultat te plaira tout de même !

Je pensais qu'il y aurait des touristes, dans un si beau lieu! J'arrête de plaisanter,c'est une excellente photo avec une superbe présentation!

C'est vrai ça ! On n'a pas le droit de tuer les touristes pour faire une photo ! Pourtant j'en ai souvent rêvé ! Mille merci pour cette superbe image...je me sentirais presque l'âme de G. Peck pour t'offrir une glace en remerciement. Je suis, une fois de plus, fasciné par la qualité de tes photos, avec leurs couleurs si belles, si vives. Je suis gâté.
