Description

I posted a photo of the sunset a few days ago. I in Mexico now. I wanted to paint what i see with out photo. I did take photos as you saw one the other day. I brought my acrylic paint with me and some paper that will take acrylic paint with out it warping. I use both sides of the paper as i painting what i see with my eyes. This is the first time i started doing this as i was painting from photos. I an all new experiences for me. it harder that it looks. The sun set keep on changing colors each time I look up from the painting and the clouds moved too. Of course the water moved all the time and when a boat go by it would mess up the water even more. this is my third painting as the first two is so bad looking. But that how painting goes. just like any other art. some times it good and sometimes it bad. hope you you like it. the water is clear here and there is black rocks in the under the waters so i was trying to take that into account and get them in too under the water some one commented on my photo to straighten that horizon line out. If i did that then the pole would be off. I took a lot of photos of the horizon and it is not straight ever time. i going to put my camera down to level to see as I think it the lens detonation on this. I got a len on my D90 that means to go on a bigger pro camera. I do not have a lens that is not a zoom with me. Zoom will give more detonation than a fix lens will
