Same guy as my last upload. He's been more than cooperative! :)
My husband thinks I've lost my mind. When I found this guy on my kitchen floor, my reaction was... "Awesome! A horsefly". A month ago my reaction would have been "Ewwwww! A horsefly!" ;-)

Very cool capture again! Love when flies of all types clean their heads. BTW, I think this is a female, believe I read the females have those arrow shaped mouth parts. Lucky you to have these around, here in California we don't get Horse or Deer flies. They have such awesome eyes! Well done, thanks for sharing.
