Description

OK - so I'm playing around in Vue 10 - trying to come up with a few landscapes to use in a couple upcoming TNA pages... I wanted a hillside covered with trees, brush, a few bits of glade, and so on for the Girls to run through. Still in the learning mode (i.e. not knowing what the heck I'm doing....LOL), I played around a bit with the Eco-painter tool. Very cool.... I was kinda happy with what I saw, so I set the render size to 3360 X 2100 pixels; superior quality. Thirty-four hours later..... Thank God for quad cores and multitasking... ;-P I've been in kind of a blue funk the last few days, but getting back to normal, now. I'm learning bit-by-bit more about Vue and Hexagon - I'll be tackling DAZ4 and maybe a bit of Blender soon as well - assuming my head doesn't explode first! Thanks for all the great comments on my last couple posts! I really appreciate all of them! Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Great job Rod... LMAO ref head exploding. Have you tipped off Jo and given her instructions on how to put you back together again? Maybe you could render yourself with head exploding? How would that be for a challenge???

This is fabulous, Rod! I love how the hill disappears on the right into an illusion of extreme height. The landscaping, lighting and shadows are just, in a word...WOW! I think this is a brilliant render!

That looks pretty good. I started to get Vue in Dec/Jan. But I was so worried about the learning curve and if I could handle it or not. I feel like I still haven't learned Poser completely after all these years. YOu are doing great!
