Description

By lucky chance yesterday I found these two on my shrub. As I was just taking a look around the area these 2 landed right next to me. But, I didn't have my camera. So I rushed back inside to fetch it and hoped they would still be in the same spot. They were! Managed 3 shots and this was the best of them. Small (4-5mm) Paragus Hoverflies. I see this species hovering around a lot by my flowers, but they seem to rarely land. The last several days have been good for me as far as macro photos, so I have a few more of different insects in reserve for the next couple days I will be posting. Thanks for looking... Bruce
