Description
As some may recall, I worked over the Memorial Day weekend. Because of the long hours, I was able to buy my new bike a month early. I transferred the lights, lock and fender to the new one, got it registered online with the company and with the police.
this is the Sirrus Sport, a hybrid commuter bike
it has 27 gears (3 front 9 rear) and weighs 8 pounds less than my old bike.

Great looking bike Mike. Such a bike would last a long time where Glenda & I live. You are lucky if you get 3 months of the year when the snow is gone so you can ride a bike.

Niiiice bike, Mike! Wow - 27 gears..... It's been many many years since I've ridden a bike - I'd probably break my fool neck on it. I was reading in the Missouri Conservationist magazine about a bike trip along Missouri's KATY Trail - a 230 mile long bike/hike trail. It was once a railroad, but the state made it a wonderful state park. If I ever get to retire I might get a bike and try that (after LOTS of practice!)
