this is a photo from last year.
this blue jay sat on the bird bath all afternoon and into the night.
the next morning we found him on the ground.

He looks like a young one. It's always so sad to see a sick animal or person .. and then find they died. And really, there was nothing you could do to help this one. A beautiful capture, with some deep thoughts behind it.
