Description

Just a wave. Lake Michigan, a few blocks from home. (A very wide shot: better full-size.) I'm still commenting since returning: Will finish your galleries tomorrow. * * * Thanks to all for your wonderful support! Have a fine Tuesday, Mark

I love the silvery hue of this foto; gives it a wonderfully magic quality. We both have these BIG waters to see and love--and they change moment to moment!

I LOVE the composition and the light! What a fantastic image! So much shadow on one side and so much light on the other, and the crests of the waves pull it all together. Beautiful!

Gorgeous waves, Mark. Amazing clarity and details you got in this shot and I know it is taken with the little Nikon 2mp. Fantastic :).

bien traité en noir et blanc je suppose. Cela donne plus de mouvement et de profondeur.

you're right looks so much better in the zoom! It looks so much more than what it is almost alien in nature the B/W really does it! super shot!!

Great Scott...shades of the Victory at Sea television series from the 1950s! I can hear the theme music now: "No other love have I." They used scenes such as this quite often in several episodes. But, as usual, I digress. Superb lighting contrast and detail in this lake shot, Mark, generating a feeling of definite water activity.

Well caught and at just the right moment. I love how the sun is just catching the tops and making them glisten and the texture of the water really stands out. An outstanding capture.
