Description

The strange hues in these are partly from my old 2 MP Nikon; but mostly from the stark sun hitting those noxious fumes. It was such a strange light, I let it be. But for softening grain, I did little to change them. After sunrises, lake shots and architecture, I thought it time to show the other side of my huge city: Industry. WOW! What a shot. Perfect capture to describe the other side of the city, so superbly photographed. I can also here the infernal noice, the workers are working in. We really must be grateful we have these guys. Hope they get well payed for this. Awesome Capture, Mark. :)

Despite the land-based flotsam and jetsam and fumes, the clarity, lighting and combination of blue and orange color makes for a stunning shot here, Mark; a distinct departure from your wonderful Lake Michigan and Chicago offerings.

An interesting photo. This is a sight I don't miss up in the mountains, but I know it is a necessary part of keeping life going. The workers green vests really stand out in all of it.
