This image was named "Flower-Bed" by my mum, because I couldn't think up anything better. If anyone can suggest a better title then I will rename it - so, a competition then!
This is Simba, my 8ish year old Maine Coon Red cat laying in his new favourite sunny weather spot in the garden. Simba lived with at least three other people before we took him in - he is a big cat and can be very demanding which was probably too much for his previous owners. He has been with us for three and a half years now and has become very settled. Despite being demanding he is an amazingly loving cat and makes us laugh with his clownish antics - typical of Maine Coons.
Postwork includes slight saturation boost as well as a touch of dodge and burn to show off his fur texture a little better.

I believe all cats are demanding and we are slaves to them - but that is something I would never ever wish to change at all ... ;)) I am a great fan and admirer of all cats and this one here is no exception - it's just adorable. Our cat Monkey died nearly two years ago and I still miss her like mad; this is definitely a 'special flower' amongst flowers ... a mesmerising capture, BB
