Description

This is an old image taken with a 35mm Nikon 2020, C-41 film. It is also an image I've removed from the back of the gallery for a couple reasons. First and foremost was a comment JC had made on a recent post of "The Wave", A(link provided below). Now before getting to far ahead of myself, this is the north unit, access by special permit only! A mere quarter mile(402 meters) separate these two formations(A&B). Believe this is the formation JC was thinking of when commenting on the post, "The Wake", a new formation I found in the south unit. The official name of this formation is, "The Wave", B. How imaginative, right...LOL, leave it to a government agency for some good old sterile labeling. :~) I want to thank bimm3d, Higherspirit, and MirageBay for there kind comments when I originally posted this. The fourth comment on the image I will leave nameless as he did not believe this place existed, and insisted I move the image to the genre of "photo manipulation". To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed the last image in my gallery, Enter "The Wake"(not the link below). thumb_2336023.jpg

Beautifully capture. The layers look like frozen waves. I wonder how that happened.
