Description

These barnacles would be a bed of nails for you our me. For these Starfish however it's a good meal and a bed for the night! Thought about cropping this down into a panorama, but decided the wave action crashing into the left margin looked kind of cool. A great weekend to all! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2337694.jpg

Not a place to slip if you are wearing shorts! Starfish are so beautiful, and this is a great shot.

There will always be plenty of food to be found, also between the barnacles! - for those luscious looking starfish - which almost take on the shape of modern jewellery - glad you left the 'water-feature' in ;) BB

The action of the waves add a nice contrast to the stillness.

now I'm wondering about how tough those starfish must be. Being tossed around by waves must be touch, and the surface does not appear soft. And the starfish must be in water to survive I expect. Great picture that makes me wonder how things work. Well done!!
