This is just beautiful, Mark; so much subtle colour seeping up when you look closely, and the city seems to take on person/creaturehood when viewed from this distance, not like a collection of buildings but an entity in its own right. Wonderful work!

This is one stunning looking capture Mark, one of your best. The point of view over the water way was a great idea as it seems to almost draw the viewer toward the city. This really is a lovely area, and hard to believe it can remain so beautiful even during the temps in October. Also I agree that the buildings actually add to the setting here and almost complete it.

What is remarkable in this foto: the soft effects of the sky, the Chicago skyline, the sheen on the surface of the water, and the overall silhouetting contrast panorama, Mark! Superbly stunning in its own muted way. And happy you liked the works of de Graff.

Very satisfying. This is a view the typical tourist probably never sees. The colors, shading and softness really works for me.
