Definitely a Fortian anomaly, or is it the first wave of Romulans? Never saw a formation such as this one, definitely unusual. Bear in mind, it is 2012, excellent capture, Richard!!!!!

I do love unusual clouds and skies such as this. If anyone knows the name, here's the scenario. Around 2009 in Texas, I was working outside when I looked up around 1400 hours/2PM and saw clouds that look like holes had been punched through them. Massive holes, like a 3D swiss cheese sky. Craziest thing I've ever seen. I had crappy cell phone pictures on an old computer, which unfortunately has gone off to the computer bone yard since then.
