Description

Greetings to One and All! We interrupt this program to bring you a word from our sponsors..lol... Today's installment is something I have been working with for awhile and finally finished. This is a 1962(my birth year)Ford Econo Pro Stock modified for drag strip racing.Yes for those unfamiliar with this particular rare vehicle the motor "is" behind the cab located in the bed of the truck.Back in the day when I used to participate with a few buddies on weekends at our local drag strip this rare Ford was a focal point of the weekend when they decided to come and take all our money because they usually ran the quarter mile in the low 8's...That's 8 seconds in a quarter mile or how long it took to get from the starting line to the finish line for those that didn't know.... With the motor located where it is it gave this Pro Stock an advantage because the weight helped to keep it glued to the track...The wheelie bars kept it from flip'n over and on more than several occasions over the years they had there share of close calls but never wrecked..Though( I don't wish bad things upon anyone) we wish they would of because we then stood a chance of at least winning from time to time....lol.. So without further ado.... I happened to find this model while surfing the net and couldn't wait to get busy adding my own modifications/customizations and presenting this then for your viewing pleasure. So for those who like this kind of art I hope you like the results...(smiles).. ~Will~ Created/Customized and Modified in Bryce Pro 7 by yours truly... Minimal post work using Photoshop Elements 8 1962 Ford Econo is from dmi-3d.net Thanks for you continued support of what I do and for all your kind comments and encouragement... See you Friday with another from the Fractal Factory.

I Love How 3D Programs Can Bring Memories and Dreams To Life To Be Shared With Others, I Have A Memory Of A Painting On A Wall At Primary School Of A VW Combi Van With A Huge Rear Mounted Motor Doing A Wheel Stand and A Gorilla (King Kong Perhaps) Painted On The Side, "Go Ape" Was Written Under It, Iam Almost Certain It Was A Real Drag Car In The USA Not Here In Australia, Maybe I Can Recreate This Image/VW Combi and Share It With Everyone Here Also, Drag Racing Is A Sport I Love To View, Really Cool Render, Maybe Your Creation Will See A Drag Strip Soon. ;~)
