More of my wife's flowers.
I am told that the blue color [rather than the usual pink] comes from having acidic soil.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, where fir trees are everywhere, the soil is naturally acid and the "normal" color for hydrangeas here is blue. Pink ones are special! :)

Beautiful I love these...my mom's next door neighbor used to grown them they are really petty as dry arrangements too get a woven basket dry to petals then just put them in the container pour some fragrance oil on them.......put out in different area's around the house.............. and wa lah.,instant fragrance...........I also like the pink and green tho they aren't as prevelant as the blue ones.........
