Description

Our annual Wintersun Festival "Cooly rocks on" at the weekend in Coolangatta, was all rained out ... with the old cars come the old Greasers and Rockers, who were a little subdued this year, due to the bad weather and couldn't dance outdoors as much as usual, so instead they all went to the local brothel. ref: note in this pic the "VIP-lounge" sandwich board ... every town seems to have one! Amazing these colors together, dear friend! Also with the reflections. I think because of the rain, the colors are deeper and more special to see. That umbrella-color are fitting so well. (I didn't find that info from 10/6, and did receive this a couple of hours ago, but was in the garden at that time.) Hugs going to you both, and thank you for sharing!!!!

Looks like they all parked so they could make a quick get-away, or does everybody on your side of the world park that way? I love the psychedelic colors especially the way it reflects back off the wet sidewalk. Shame about the rain spoiling the good time though. Hope they all had a good time anyway. You are right about the VIP Lounge, they ARE every where. Great shot.

Well these cars have certainly brightened up this rainy scene. They look very cheerful and I like how they have reflections on the wet ground too. An excellent photograph but what a shame about the weather for this event. Even we have those VIP lounges.

Great car collection! Colors are so vivid. I like the first car most of all. The comment of psyoshida about a getaway made me think that this could be the Joker's band and their cars.

You sure did make the best out of that bad weather, a real eye candy parade and I bet there was some eye candy for the drivers in the VIP Lounge as well ! LOL Maybe next year the festival will live up to it's name...we hope ! Well done, Happy Burfday for tomorrow (16th) and Cheerios :o)
