My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

What a breathtaking compo you got here; the horizontal lines of the rocks receding into the mist are arresting! Well done you!

Superb capture Tara. God Bless.

a quiet moody sweep, gentle and introspective, and feeling very foggy and even brooding. Softness abounds even amidst these forbidding shores, and still it feels almost stormy. I guess if you live there many years, you know its moods and postures. A moody introspective shot. The Great Lakes have scenes like this, only much further north; and there are hills, but not mountains. But the ageless fog and grayness can be found often, away from the cities...

pretty picture of a dreary scene. I like it

Ooooh! It's getting cold here now, so this photo is making me feel even colder - the damp, cold fog coming in. Brrrr! But, what a beautiful photo it is. The fog acting like a softing filter for your camera. But I'll keep my toes out of the water - must be cold. Keep up the good work! :-)

Wonderful landscape! Great atmosphere! :)

Tranquil but challenging ....due to the mystery, that involve the place. I love the foggy atmosphere!! The big stone in the middle emerging from the water seems a guardian, i see faces there, but also seems protected, by the hills around...and this, to me, gives so much magic to your capture. It is Wonderful.
