Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

ba-da-boom, what a great capture, esp lined up against all that white! Yes, a real chorus line. With all those curly lines flying up, it looks like they're on fire...Fine angle and good contrast with its background. You sure find amazing things, Marilyn: I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this near where I travel. Wonderfully playful upload.

This is really fabulous. I am WOOOW, looking at!!!! Lots of work in each of this sculptures...lots of thoughts surely...and they are wonderfully done...who is the artist? It is impressive, when we look their eyes in line and how they change their expressions and the mouths too...are them giving advices?? or telling stories?? It is amazing..but still think that must have a story behind. Thank you, Marylin.It is a wonder!

I love these! The different elements are so great together. They might be backup singers, with their Oooooooo-ooooo mouths. :O

Yeah, these are definitely the back-up doo-wop girls...Or maybe they're dancers of some sort. At any rate, they're stunning! I could easily see myself with a nice, big house with a nice, big yard, and quite a large number of these ladies.

I think I saw this group at a Voodoo festival, in Jamaica, in the mid 60s. :<}
