Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Cool shot. Indeed a "bit" of work is needed.

Great find. Our beach has lots of the cacti too, but I can't for the life of me think of it's name!

Sailing, sailing, over the bounding ... ice plant. Something like that! LOL! Great shot! A little paint, some heavy wallpaper, she'll be good as new. :P

there's no doubt you could make something for your garden with this. Like i"ve said, if I get there one day, you're gonna have to give me license to photograph the place, I'm sure I'll get hundreds of shots of all the things you've made, built and collected. But as for this beached whale, it's a beautiful decayed and run down old beauty, so white! and so keeping-it-all-together-for-whoever-passes-by. A wonderful capture, you found the unusual once again, and that forward-tilted cabin says it all. Love the flowers all around it too. A real marilyn shot, and a pure delight!

A planter would be a lovely finish for this old girl, although she looks good in the iceplant too. Great find and shot!
