Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

I might replace this image if I get a warmer glow in it later today as the morning light was a bit pale to get a good shot.

BRILLIANT work, Helle! A2 is an enormous challenge.. As you know I can't use dry pastels, too messy. I should have got the medium all over me, the dogs and the carpet!

I'm sure everyone will be happy to see any version of this that you want to post, but holy cow, this is just wonderful! The leaves alone are wonderful! You got their sheen, you got the thick-feel of the leaves and their powerful presence. Your flower is a white beauty, and the box and perfume---first, you did the letters with chalks? Good old fashioned chalk pastels? If I did that, the letters would be smearing all over the place, they'd have hair growing off of them, and they'd look like someone sneezed on them. Fine job, Helle, very carefully done! But most of all, that bottle: You've turned its lights and forms into beautiful pastel islands. It's beautiful. And your background is a kind of gentle set of radiations...different from Andrea's silk-like backdrop, you've turned it into a gentle set of rays coming off the bottle. It's beautiful, and I'll never know how you did this with a bad wrist. So what, I have to injure my wrist now, to do something this good??? Any better suggestions??? And I understand Andrea entirely: I have 3 sets of pastels, all first rate, from very hard to practically powder, and I can't draw a smudge with them without getting it all over my hands, arms, the paper, my table, and half my neighborhood. You're a natural with this very difficult medium. Bravo! Now go rest your hand, after telling it what a great job it did...

Wonderfully done, Helle!! A great challenge in a A2 with the most fantastic result!!I had seen it in progress and already was a wonder..now, is a masterpiece and i am not surprised:)The flower is fabulous and amazing, how you did the differents tones of white...the light is fabulous in the whole. And the soft back ground, gives volume, and perspective the piece, yet, doing contrast. The leafs are wonderfully done as well all the composition. Only can say BRAVO HELLE:)) its a wonderful and creative interpretation of the original of Andrea. Brilliant work!

Oh Helle. Wow. I've been staring at this, zooming in and out, looking at the details. It's gorgeous! I'm SO impressed. It's hard to believe you've just begun! :) The color blending on the leaves, the sharp lines (how on earth did you get those sharp lines with pastels?), the reflections and refractions of light ... you got it all! REALLY fine work. I hope you'll continue with this medium. It seems you're a natural! :)

Oh my, this is just so wonderful. The pastel background gives it a soft, sweet look and the bottle and flower are just lovely. It's a beautiful rendition of Andrea's foto!!
