An exciting announcement:
My Spirit Wolf artwork has been licensed by The Bradford Exchange for their collectible Dreamcatcher Plate series. Bradford licenses art from some of the top artists in the world for their various products, so it is a great honor to have been selected. The plate is hand-crafted fine china, with a hand-painted dreamcatcher frame, real feathers, leather, beads, and other adornments. I'm thrilled with how it looks.
The plate is currently on the Bradford site for test marketing, and is scheduled for major release in August. Spirit Wolf is one of the most popular designs in my portfolio, so I have high hopes of it doing well with Bradford.

I frequently have to remind myself of what you're doing in the marketplace, because your images are so intimate and come from such an inward place. It's always a triumph when imagery like that makes it to the mass market. It lets very intimate journeys become available to many people; and you get paid well for it, and get an increasingly larger audience. I'm thrilled for you, especially after your personal losses of the last number of years. As for the B.Exchange, I've definitely heard of it, and I've known people who worked for it in non-artist roles, over the years. It's not a surprise you're one of their artists now, nor will I be surprised as this happens more often. The image is beautiful, as always, one of your mythic animals surrounded by light and mists, and (in this case) enwrapped in a deep dark from which it emerges. (Rembrandt used that dark esp in his later paintings, as the inner world from which his miraculous late portraits emerged---which is mostly visible in person or in good prints/jpgs; lesser prints/jpgs don't show how much he has going on in that darkness, as you do in yours.) Your wolf and its light emerges out of the cosmos. And the dreamcatcher is the 'mother' that holds it all, the progenitor...It's amazing that Bradford is using real feathers, beads, etc, because that'll make your paintings 3 dimensional (not 3D, software-wise, but 3D real-wise). The pictured plate looks beautiful and visceral. And I like that it's called "Souls of the Night," it's made broader, a series on all creatures of the night. (Do they include me? You want a photo, lol?) Congratulations! It feels like you're on one of those paths that are opening and opening more and more as you travel it...the winds are with you, and you're reaping all they have to offer. I wish you all the light in the world with this and all your professional work, you deserve it, and it's uplifting for all of us...
