Description
A bountiful crop of the species, captured 6/16/12, early AM, within trudging distance of my piquant place.
Do ZOOM.
A plethora of digifiddling on these pics due to the heavily overcast morning, typical here during the months of May and June, often referred to as May gray and June gloom. The overcast, which helps keep the temperatures down, burns off by late morning or early afternoon, leaving bright, sunny skies.
Ciao, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Very beautiful Harry, love the colors here.

Those are luxurious Morning Glories, Harry. Even Morning Glories don't grow that well here. The homeowner has done a great job with these colorful fence climbers.

You postwork, Harry, has rendered this a very peach-hued and sedate background, which feels very restive; against which he morning glories stand out by contrast, as beautiful purple-tinged flowers. They have a boldness about them, almost like they were made of fabric. And your montage takes us from one wide shot through 3 closeups, and ends in an opposite wide shot. (Again, a cinematic grammar, ie, start with the establishing shot, move in for closer shots, then leave with another wide shot: some variation of that pattern...) And your brightest mglories are in the middle! The flowers have an almost pastel-drawing quality, while the rest of the area is plaintive white/green and pink. A very sweet collection, and you tackled the overcast hues so that you seem to work 'with' them as well as against them. A fine series of shots.
